Sushi and Shabushi
Yeah... We have been out for a looong time. Counting off the Nov-Dec holidays and the few weeks of school, we really should get down to business. Our favourite business!
COOKING and eating of course!
We did
Oreo cheesecake last week.
Amazingly the cheesecake is still lasting in our cookery room fridge.
Today, we learned how to make sushi and shabushi (japanese savory egg custard).
The shabushi is of like commercial quality IF we can get the quantities right. Even the sushi taste like the ones we can buy from supermarkets, I think it's the japanese vinegar!
I should get the recipes from Ms Kiw (Our teacher IC) so I can archive here for our members reference.
Since we are starting the year with the japanese food module, a tip would be to get the japanese ingredients and utensils from Daiso! It's a really good place to buy all the funky japanese household items and ingredients!
So do stay tune to more food updates right here!
